The All Against Abuse Virtual Benefit for The Retreat

How do you change the world? By getting to the root of the problem.
That’s why The Retreat focuses on prevention
.

If we are going to end the cycle of violence, it starts with education.
The Retreat's education programs work alongside
the comprehensive services we provide to those affected by abuse.

With your help, we are working toward a world where
no one lives in fear of abuse, harassment, or assault.
A world where everyone is safe and respected.
Together we offer hope.

On Saturday, June 5, 2021, we gather in celebration
of survivors and the life-changers who help them thrive.

Tune in to hear inspiring stories of hope and to learn more
about how you are helping to end the cycle of violence
and having a positive effect on our community.

Teen Leaders Talk About Respect

About The Retreat

What We Do

Our clients range from the families that arrive in the middle of the night with only the clothes on their back; to the immigrant families who have no resources; to the young fathers who are determined to break the cycle of abuse by educating themselves in good parenting and relationship skills. In 2020 our doors remained open, the hotline never went unanswered and the emergency shelter had more than 60% of its residents under the age of 16. Our staff is committed to providing compassionate, empathetic, and culturally aware services. The Retreat's services are offered free of charge thanks to the generosity of our community of donors.
